Madison Road Trip - Post trip Report
Mon, 11/05/2007 - 2:33pm — HuskyNationAll in all a good road trip.
Huskies won Friday night. Shirtless did a dance.
Huskies lost Saturday night with a sloppy third period. I got "a55holed" due to the fOSU shirt I had.
To be honest, the Crease Creatures were more reserved than usual (even with their 70% attendance), as opposed to when they were jackasses during the 03-04 season when I last visited the Kohl Center. Still had a couple of the normal idiots running around on Friday and Saturday night chanting "a55hole" at us, just for being Tech fans apparently, since not a word was said by anyone from MTU to those people. My only comment before we seranaded the leaving BADger fans on Friday night with "Engineers" and "No Beer" was, "Soooore Loooooser!"
For the most part though (i.e. the BADger folk that could actually think) were friendly, sociable and complimentary to the Tech squad.
Madison Road Trip
Tue, 10/23/2007 - 3:41pm — HuskyNationGas for a trip from Detroit to Madison: $120
Tickets to the MTU/UW series: $44
Hotel room in Madison: $110
Watching the Huskies spank the BADgers again at the Kohl Center: priceless
The first major road trip of the year. State Sreet in Madison during the combined Football and Hockey season. Folks, it just doesn't get much better than this......well, yeah it does with two Husky wins! My first opportunity to see the boys in action and I've gotta say, I'm pretty pumped right now. Hopefully it's even better after the NoDak series.
I'm really glad that we have a decent sized crowd going. The team will be really fired up to see us there taking all the abuse from the BADgers fans and play their tails off. The more, the merrier.
