4th Annual Mitch's Misfits Favorite Husky Award

This year we will be giving an award to the Husky hockey player who is voted as our favorite.

There need not be any rhyme or reason to who you vote for. Just pick your favorite Husky, regardless of the reason why he is.

2009-10 Autographed Goal Pucks Now For Sale!

Last year's pucks are now officially up for grabs!  All funds collected from these sales are used to support Mitch's Misfits with our student road trips, social events, and cheering materials (cow bells, posters, etc).  If you'd like to help us out, and get a pretty sweet autographed puck while at it, go to http://pucks.mitchsmisfits.com/ and take a look at our inventory.

Use the tabbed links at the top to select what year puck you'd like to look at.  Then, click on a puck that interests you to see more details and a picture.  Click the "I want this puck!" to reserve the puck and contact us about purchasing it.  We can ship anywhere in the main 48 states for just $5 extra! If you are local, we can drop it off for free!

Newly elected Executive Board

The newly elected eBoard for the 2010-2011 school year will be (left to right) President Gina Salvi, Vice President Mike Metzger, Secretary Thom Sullivan, and Treasurer Andrew Kennedy.  Congratulations to all, make the Misfits proud!

Misfits Leadership Openings!

So... we've had a lackluster season thus far, but the Misfits flourished this year and are still as strong as ever.  However, much of our executive board will be graduating at the end of the semester and we're looking for some new leadership!
Many positions will be open, including president, vice president, and treasurer; if you have an interest in helping lead the Misfits, we can find a position to meet your desires and time availability.  Each member has their own responsibilities, but as a whole our achievements are in organizing very large road trips to away games at Northern and/or Duluth each year, maintaining an active and rowdy STANDING section at home games, creating traditions and maintaining old ones, and recruiting new Misfits and future fans of hockey.  We have great support from the administration.  This includes coach Jamie Russell, our adviser, whom has thanked us many times for the atmosphere that we create the games (home and away).

If you are interested in joining the Misfit executive board team, please arrive to Friday's game by 6:30 and meet us in the front of Section L for more information.  Please do not hesitate to email or find me if you have any questions or time conflicts.  If you are even vaguely interested, please show up or email me!
